What an incredibly beautiful day yesterday was. Easter Sunday. While I can readily admit the morning wasn't so "beautiful", I am referring to my attitude and I will spare you the details. We all made it to church (even if we had to take two cars) to celebrate Easter and it's full and true meaning. Always fun to see such a packed house. The girls got a visit from the Easter bunny, too much candy and egg hunts.
We had some friends over for lunch after church it was YUMMY! I ate too much, I am still full. Our afternoon was spent with every single one of us taking a nap. Actually Josie didn't. She played quietly in her room for me, even though she could have benefited from one too.
The weather was so perfect last evening I insisted we get out of the house to enjoy it. The morning had been hectic and I hadn't really gotten any good pictures of the girls so it gave me an excuse to bring the camera along. We went to a park and let the girls roam while I snapped away. I tried to give a little direction but no one listened. This is ok most of the time and I can still get good pictures. But when I try to get one of the three of them together, that needs a little guidance. Why must it be so hard? Because it is mom behind the camera! Oh, and remember the one who didn't take a nap? I won't say any more than that.
Picture overload but we were having fun. Some of the first pictures from my new camera and my new lens. Can we say LOVE!
Hope you all had as good as an Easter as we did here!
Throwing rocks, what fun I tell ya. Oh and yes that is a pull-up you see on my potty trained little girl. Don't get me started.
This angle is thanks to my new lens. Smile.
The girls each got a webkinz from the Easter bunny.
Harper brought "Glassie" aka Lassie along.
Love, love, lovin' the evening sun.
Unsure where the squirrel went.
Sweet Emme girl and her bouquet of dandelions.
The rocks were coming towards me this time!
Happiest when hanging, climbing or balancing from something.
The gymnast in her.
Spring is here!!!!!!!!!
In all the rocks in this little garden Josie picked one up and someone had written on it.
Love it.
Perfect end to an 'almost' perfect day.
