Welcome

Welcome to my little spot on the world wide web, a place that I hope to let you into my world behind the lens. I have fallen head over heels in love with photography. I see it everywhere I go. My mind is always swirling and taking notes. It has become part of who I am. I want to make time stop through my images. Capture the things we just might otherwise forget.

Girly fun

I had the chance this summer to go over to one of my very best friends house and follow her little girls around. Erin and I met playing basketball together in the 6th grade. We spent many more years together playing sports and being goofy teenagers. Funny, now we both have been blessed with 3 girls very similar in ages. I don't even want to think about the re-payment for our youth we will be dealt in the years to come.
Erin's youngest had just turned one so we took the opportunity to take some pictures. We managed to get some real good pictures filled with personality and not to mention their stunning blue eyes!!! So warning...picture overload here! We took so many there were tons of good ones!

What you can't tell in these pictures is the drama that took place in between settings. We stopped to eat lunch and take a break for the girls to change into some fun dress-up clothes and little Lily took a tumble down an entire flight of stairs landing on a tile floor. I had brought two of my girls along (not a normal session) and they, not knowing the rules of the house, went to play in the basement and didn't shut the door behind them. Amazingly Lily was totally fine. No doubt she had an angel with her that day, it could have been bad! We took a longer break to make sure everything was fine then went ahead and took more pictures. I am so glad that we did because those were most of my favorites for the day!
Erin and her family are the process of moving this weekend so I found it appropriate to post these... hopefully they will able fill the walls of their new home with some!
